Today was one of those days when you feel full of joy and smiling all the time.
Yesterday my zumba teacher said today I was going to be the only one in the class, so she wanted to know if I was fine with that or if we should cancel the class.
I told her I had no problem being the only one since I love dancing and I haven’t done it for a while.
I have a very energetic young teacher.
The nonstop one hour lesson is a combination of music in Spanish, English and even Japanese. It keeps me in touch with the young rhythms, and the funny lyrics of the Spanish songs with my imagination make it a very funny and fulfilling hour.
I have been dancing all my life different types of music. Since very traditional Mexican dances, traditional Japanese to ballet, jazz and and also used to go to the disco very often as a student.

I guess my father liked people who could dance, so he hired different teachers to teach us in different stages of our life.
Today another friend also attended the class. Before starting the class, the teacher told us she was a little blue and had thought about giving up on teaching this class. She said that if I hadn’t answered she was going to quit for good.
I could very well understand her, and told her that maybe we needed to dance to cheer up again and forget everything.
We had so much fun. We danced like if we were on stage. Some songs with strength and power and some others with a soft and artistic hand movements.
It made me remember when I used to go to Pleasure Island and dance just for the joy of dancing with my friends. Never really drinking anything. We could dance for hours and always end up with the song “The last dance”.

I wish you all, a life full of joy.
Remember that the best thing we can do to bring peace to this world is to be happy and cheerful.
Tomorrow is February 14th, so I write this post with all my love.
Happy Valentine’s!!!
