Last Sunday we opened a wine we had bought last December when we visited that part of Japan where the Tsunami made people realize how vulnerable we are against nature.

My daughter was looking for the wine glasses and said there was no pair of glasses.

I told her we had no pair of anything, because one of each was broken, so we decided to use every thing without a pair. Like at home. We are all very different in personality and choices. Jajaja

I like living the more practical way. Maybe not do fancy. I like using everything I buy or receive as a present.

One day a friend gave me a little plastic cup. She said it was for children, because it didn’t break if they dropped it.

When my daughter came back from kindergarten I poured her juice in the new cup. She looked at me and asked “Where is my real cup?”

I told her it was un the cupboard, but that was new and it didn’t break in case she dropped it .

She looked at me and asked: “Why would I drop my pretty cup? I handle it with care because I like it. I want my real cup. Not a fake one.”

She was very true, so I used the cup for rinsing our mouth after brushing our teeth, and kept using pottery. When something breaks, we clean up and it is also an important learning experience.

I think this applies not only to material things but also advices, information and so on.

I like to put in practice all I learn, and the advice when I receive it. It brings good results, because either you prove it is not true or you really find a new way to do things faster and sometimes better.

Another very important advice here on the way she said she would handle with care her cup, goes to people and relationships. When we find true friendship we should appreciate it and really care for it.

We live in a time when knowing is not enough. We need to put things in practice.

Have a wonderful day!!!
