I have to thank Mazda for the importance it has had in life.
I went to Hermosillo to start a job I had never done, but the support of their people was something I will never forget. It is a very dry part of México, with very high or low temperatures. With a small population, but very friendly and warm.

Back then (1995), cars were not as fancy as they are now, but they were made at heart; no wonder Mazda helped Hiroshima to recover fast after the 2WW.

I never thought I would come to live in Japan and work again with them. Nor that I would have the opportunity to teach Spanish to the employees, nor that even my son would be part of the family.

I had the opportunity to translate for almost all the different areas and processes. Plant and engineering and could see first hand how the part of molding and design are basically hand made processes.

I appreciate the hard job and the philosophy behind it. Also the importance they give lately to employees to have a fulfilling private life.
When you visit Hiroshima if you have a chance take a look at the Mazda museum.
