I sit at my table and a kind lady comes to offer coffee.
When my children were little we used to go back to the beach in Mexico. My daughter liked so much the service we received at one of the hotels in Puerto Vallarta.
She said that when she grew she wanted to open a hotel.
She hasn’t opened her hotel yet it at her 24, she has been working in the hotel industry along Japan in five stars hotels. She suggests people to stay at least one night at a nice hotel when traveling to Japan.
I don’t need to explain then why we have memberships in a few hotels and sometimes reward nights.
This time I want to share what I have experienced in these category of hotels. Besides being perfectly clean and in good service, in Japan they have the concept of making you feel special.
The main things that always calls my attention is that service is personalized. Although you might find a machine to make your coffee, a person will also be there willing to serve you. If you forget some personal item they will lend you nail clippers, cable cords, and different amenities without asking your room number, not to bring it back after use. You can leave inside the room.
There is a sense of trust. Many times elevators don’t have any kind of security so you don’t have to be looking for your key in order to go up or down the elevator. This doesn’t mean that they don’t have security, because they have cameras in public spaces that are monitoring all the time and they can recognize who is a guest and who is not. However they do not interfere guest’s privacy.
Flowers are always natural and pieces of art fill the spaces with good energy.
Linen and provided pijamas are most of the times cotton made, since cotton is the material that protects better people’s energy.
If the hotel is Japanese style, the quality of the water will be different. Water is also important for people’s health so that will be the main sales point.
Maybe this is the reason I get inspired to write. I get clear ideas.
Today as I was walking back to my room after breakfast I remembered how about 20 years ago I attended a seminar “by mistake” given by a famous doctor called Abo Toru. He was one of the activist doctors fighting against medicine to cure cancer. He said and had done a long and successful work on curing people without medicine.
He said keeping the body warm was enough to make the recovery faster. Laughing a lot was what he recommended.
He was doing the conference with a “disciple of him” he said then. Now I know he is considered the most powerful healer in Japan.
That day I witnessed how he cured many people at once and even though I could not really understand with my mind, my soul understood. He recommended to never stop fever from developing.
Both of them said that fever was that natural way the body had to heal itself, so he said never give medicine to your children when they have a fever. Put a leaf of lettuce or cabbage on their forehead and neck, give them chicken soup and let them sleep.
Hug them and make them feel safe, next day they will be recovered from whatever was they had.
That is one of the reasons I could enjoy a lot with my children. Never took them to the doctor after that and they grew very healthy.
a couple of years ago I met again this famous healer. This time I took the one year monthly seminars.
I asked him one day if he could come with me to Mexico to give this information to people. He said Mexicans were “safe”, and eventually he could go, but that I should first save the Mexican people living in Japan. He said were the most vulnerable people and were at a high risk.
In Japan you can find from the oldest technique and artifact to the newest technology. It is said to be a model of the world. If you look at the shape of the country you can find the different continents put together in a small space in the Pacific.
That is why you can also find the most powerful fighting forces and people should be informed, not to fall in the wrong side, but in the side that can bring them real freedom and happiness.
Freedom comes with responsibility, but I think when we understand better how this world moves we can actually volunteer ourselves and decide to be part of the people with a free soul!!
PD: Said this, I might start changing my writing to Spanish in the next posts.
